BACKGROUND

Kelly M. Robertson is proud to call Stafford home with deep generational roots and a passion for community-first leadership. Raised in a Navy family, Kelly spent her early years right here along Aquia Creek and later graduated from Brooke Point High School. She holds degrees in Public Administration and Business Administration and brings nearly 30 years of experience in both public service and the private sector. Her work in residential housing, finance, legal compliance, marketing, and government oversight gives her a well-rounded understanding of how to grow communities responsibly and serve residents with integrity. Kelly’s service extends beyond her career—she has also led Girl Scout troops, coached youth soccer, and volunteered in food banks and literacy programs. As a mother and homeowner, Kelly has experienced firsthand the challenges of raising a family in Stafford. From navigating the school system to utilizing parks, recreation, and county services, she understands what families need to thrive and is committed to ensuring these resources are managed wisely and effectively.

Now, she's stepping forward to ensure Hartwood has a Supervisor who listens, leads, and puts people—not politics—first.

VISION FOR HARTWOOD

Kelly envisions a Hartwood where thoughtful planning, ethical leadership, and responsive government work together to preserve what makes Stafford special while preparing for the future. She believes in a county where families don’t have to sacrifice quality of life because of unchecked development, where infrastructure and services grow with the community, and where residents have a real voice in local decisions. Kelly’s vision is rooted in transparency, accountability, and practical solutions that strengthen Hartwood for generations to come.

MISSION STATEMENT

Common-Sense Leadership for a Stronger Community

Kelly's mission is to bring common-sense leadership and accountability to the Hartwood District. By promoting ethical decision-making, responsible development, and greater community involvement, she’s committed to building a stronger Stafford for today and for generations to come. Whether it’s ensuring our roads and schools keep pace with growth, protecting our community or advocating for fiscal responsibility, Kelly will always lead with the best interests of Hartwood residents at heart.
